Response to poetry

  For this assignment i choose to do my response on the poem "We Breathed You In"

1). In the poem "We Breathed You In" by Patti Tana the authors purpose is that she wants us to remember the attack and to let people know that when they died a little part of us died too.

2). The authors tone is sad depressed and worried because in the poem she describes what had happened and how she had felt while the attacks where going on and that is why she felt this way.

3).In the poem, "We Breathed You In" by Pattie Tana, she talks about the horrible day in which thousands of people died. In the poem the author says"My body, your body, my hand, your hand, take heart dear ones, we breath you in". The author says this because we remember the victims of 9/11 and they are still alive in our hearts.
